The 10 new time-saving apps for your practice

As I wrote when I published my first version of this list in July 2013, growing your practice takes time and patience. As you travel that road, a little efficiency can go a long way.

That much hasn’t changed, but let’s be honest, our technology has. Since the summer of 2013, we’ve gone from iPhone 4 to iPhone 6, in addition to seeing the Apple Watch, Fitbit Flex, and Windows 10. CardMunch, an app on my original list, has been eaten up by Evernote. There are more apps every week, and new operating systems just about every year.

The Evolving Advisor has been encouraging you to incorporate new technologies into your practice, as readily as you’d run out to get that new iPhone. Because taking advantage of technology isn't just an option, it’s a necessity in helping you service the next generation of clients. And don’t forget your current clients, whose own business-growing needs may have led them to seek out easier, more effective solutions for managing their day to day.

Here’s my revised list for 2015 — we’ve got some keepers and some newcomers. You can also download this list to keep handy at your desks.
